Our Position
The intimate grooming category has operated on a single assumption for decades: the price of grooming is the aftermath.
The burn. The bumps. The three days where tight clothes are not an option and spontaneous plans are not possible. The calendar that gets organised around recovery windows rather than around life.
This assumption is treated as inevitable. It is not.
Every product the category has produced — every razor, every grooming method, every cream — has been built on blade-to-skin contact. When a blade contacts the epidermis, it creates micro-lacerations. The immune system responds. The inflammation cycle begins. What the category calls "sensitive skin" is the body responding correctly to physical damage.
The mechanism has always been the problem. Not your skin.
Novera was built on a different mechanism. The guard system holds the blade 3–6mm above the skin surface at all times. The blade trims. The skin is never contacted. The inflammation cascade never begins because its cause has been removed.
This is not a gentler razor. It is not a device with a softer blade. It is a different mechanism entirely — one that the American Academy of Dermatology, the NHS, and DermNet all point toward when advising patients with reactive or HS-affected skin to avoid close shaving.
The mechanism existed. The communication did not.
Novera is what happens when the right technology gets the positioning it has always deserved.
Not for closeness. For consequence-free grooming. For the woman who stopped calculating. For the woman whose body finally does not hold her back.
